Richard Wood has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA).
The appointment, which takes effect from 4th July 2005, was confirmed at a recent meeting of the BPMA Board, the trade body representing the UK sales promotion industry.
Richard moves from his role as Operations Director at Great Central Plastics to take up the new post. Currently the President of the voluntary BPMA Board, Richard also served as its Chairman in 2002-2004. The new role will allow him to share his vision and expertise gained across 30 years in the industry.
BPMA Chairman John Mallows said, ‘With the future plans and initiatives we are currently working on, having a CEO on board is a key priority for the BPMA and Richard Wood’s timely appointment will enable him to take a pivotal role in these new projects.’
