The challenges of printing and personalising packaging with Braille is an important industry issue. Atlantic Zeiser's new Braillejet printing system is described as an innovative and accurate solution for personalisation and encoding applications. The company states Braillejet features a unique micro valve for printing high viscosity UV ink which allows immediate dot fixation.
Manager marketing services, Bernhard Thomma, said: "The customer feedback we received is that Braillejet offers superior technical and cost-saving advantages. For example, the expensive setup costs associated with silk-screen printing or embossing are totally eliminated."
One head prints two Braille lines simultaneously and print width can be increased by seamless stitching additional heads together. Switching from one job to another is stated as quick and easy.
