One Water is a newly launched brand of bottled water with all proceeds going towards the installation of ‘Roundabout PlayPump’ wells in Africa, providing the local community with clean, freshly pumped water.

One Water was selected as the official bottled water for Live8 before its launch, so creator Duncan Goose had to act quickly. Mantis World was approached to be the official supplier of One Water’s promotional clothing for these high profile events and was able to supply all the required merchandise within days.

Prama Bhardwaj, Managing Director of Mantis World explained, ‘As Mantis sources almost all of its clothing from Tanzania one of the poorest nations in Africa, working closely with the local workforce, it seemed a natural fit to be linked with One Water at Live 8 and Make Poverty History Ð all of whom are dedicated to the improvement of living standards of millions of people in Africa living below the poverty line.’

Debbie Scorah, Marketing Manager for Live8 commented, ‘We could have had a major (water) brand, but we wanted to support One’s aim of helping the Roundabout Playpumps project.’

At Live8 London, One was offered to all the acts and celebrities taking part as well as featuring throughout the media village, while in Edinburgh at Make Poverty History, One was available both to speakers and for the crowds during the event. At Live8 in Edinburgh One was be available for all artists and the public.

One is endorsed by Duncan Goose’s sister - the actress Claire Goose - and the new Doctor Who, David Tennant, and is touted as a brand that people will want to be seen with.
