Key additions to brand portfolio takes total to 61
Published:  16 January, 2009

Ralawise are looking forward to 2009 with a number of key additions to our brand portfolio. With a total of 61 brands now available offering 1700+ products, Ralawise are sure we can fulfill your needs over the next 12 months and beyond.

With the credit crunch key to everyone's strategic thoughts in the coming months, it's only natural to assume that premium products such as ethical and environmentally friendly products may suffer a loss of sales. However, the performance of ethical products is not as straightforward as it seems, depending on how much value customers place on products being ethically produced. If customers still see social responsibility as important despite higher prices, then they will continue to purchase the same products. Every individual customers buying decisions are complex and take a number of elements into account, so whilst some may look for alternative, cheaper products, others will continue to buy ethical products due to their personal viewpoints.

Ralawise has a number of new ethical products available for 2009, including the OK044 shopping bag made from recycled plastic bottles from Okarma, the Organic T-Shirt range from Fruit of the Loom (SS188, SS192 & SS103) and the PR112 Fairtrade apron from Premier.

An increase in demand for teamwear has led to a number of brands entering the market. Ralawise currently offer four established brands offering teamwear styles: Tombo Teamwear, Finden & Hales, Gamegear and Kariban Sport. In total, these brands have increased their range with 30 new styles for 2009 within these brands alone.

Another popular sector is Hooded Sweatshirts. Following the success story of the AWDis Just Hoods brand last year, 2009 sees the range expanded with four new styles, including the JH020 Street Hoodie and zip up hoodies (Zoodie) in male (JH050), female (JH055) and kid's variants (JH50J).

Digital print technology is sure to develop even further, with continual improvements in the industry opening the market up to new customers with low set up costs and minimal expertise needed. Ralawise are pleased to announce the availability of the MagicTouch hardware, products and equipment to offer a one shop stop for customers using digital print, sublimation and transfer. Ralawise will have fully trained, designated staff available to demonstrate this impressive and easy to use technology.

Ralawise have also adding some great new brands to their collection. For work and safetywear, Dickies have introduced 27 new styles, including their popular Redhawk, Eisenhower and Hi Visibility lines. Renowned for its performance, comfort and durability, Dickies is the largest workwear manufacturer in the world and is an exciting addition to the Ralawise range.

Stormtech have also been introduced with a range of high standard outerwear, with 23 lines of performance jackets, soft shells, technical fleeces and classic jackets.

Bargear is another addition to Ralawise, with a range of garments suitable for the hospitality industry. Style and wearability are key attributes for Bargear, and offers decorators a potential opening in an expanding market.

Ralawise have also introduced Kariban Sailing, a specially designed collection created with a contemporary style, quality and innovation, making it ideal for club outdoor water activities and adventure sports.
