To complement the Poly/Cotton Workwear Trousers and Shorts 001M and 002M which where introduced in 2008, Russell Workwear presents a new unlined poly/cotton twill jacket 003M. Modern styled, highly functional and feature packed, design features include cadet collar, drop tail, storm flap, D-ring for ID cards, adjustable cuffs and hem, as well as decoration access on the left chest.

As pockets are very important in many work environments, the new jacket has chest pockets on the left (zipped) and right (with multi compartments), waist level patch pockets and an internal document pocket. Jerzees Schoolgear

A new "Less is More" range; a refined fleece range; two new contemporary jackets and, the cherry on the cake, the no.1 iconic sweatshirt, Jerzees Schoolgear's 762, raises its game further - there's a lot to shout about in 2009.

The "Less is More" range features a new polo shirt and t-shirt that deliver on price without stinting on quality:  the new 599 extra hardwearing 65/35 poly/cotton polo shirt that can be washed at 600; and the Zt150 lightweight t-shirt available in a great range of colours, ideal for school sports day or summer camp - both styles available in children and adult styles.

With a fleece you want warmth without the bulk and that's just what the designers at Russell Europe have done with the new fleece range - reducing the density of the fabric and adding contemporary, panelled styling to give a more stylish look and feel without compromising on warmth. The full zip option 8700 is available in children's, men's and ladies' styles and the quarter zip 8740 in children's and adults.

Such has been the interest in the 875 jacket, targeted at primary schools, that two further jackets have been introduced to the range that will complement the 875 in styling, features and performance attributes - and will be as much of a hit with a discerning teenager as with a "cool" 8-yea- old.  The first of these is the Soft Shell Jacket 140 that raises school jackets to another level by combining style and performance:  sport fit with drop tail; reverse fit chest feature pocket; adjustable cuffs; water resistant to 5000mm, windproof, breathable and fully launderable.  A choice of three core school colours are available in the children's style and an additional 3 contemporary colours, Titanium, Cactus Green and Aztec Blue, in the adult styles.

And the second jacket is the Waterproof HydraPlus 2000 Jacket 510 - parents and teachers will love its performance and safety features whilst kids of all ages will love its style and comfort.  Performance attributes include fully taped seams on the 510B and critically taped seams on the 510F and 510M; fabric is waterproof to 2000mm and breathable to 2000g/m2 per 24 hours and is fully launderable.   Packed with contemporary styling and features including rollaway lined three-piece hood (with bill for extra protection), zipped handwarmer pockets with internal pocket for mobile phone/MP3 player and reflective tape on children's style the 510 is the schoolwear jacket that indeed "Ticks all the Boxes" and will look as good with a shirt and tie as with a casual school uniform.

And the cherry on the cake - our refined, iconic 762 sweatshirt goes from strength to strength.   The 762 has been the no.1 choice for thousands of schools across the UK for the last 10 years and from April '09 it will up its game further with extra strengthened seams on the raglan shoulder and cuff and the addition of herringbone back neck tape both for extra strength and comfort.
