TheMagicTouch
Looking forward to 2009
Published:  16 January, 2009

TheMagicTouch approach 2009 with more image transfer innovation covering new aspects of garment and promotional product decoration. Since 1992, the company in the UK has seen considerable advances in digital printer technology resulting today in quality, value and reliability that are "second to none".

TheMagicTouch transfer papers are compatible with most toner based colour copiers and printers and are engineered to incorporate new catalysts within the paper coating providing the ultimate compatibility.

One significant advance has been the development of advanced composition of polymer dry-toners used by most printer and copier manufacturers.  The new toners enable printing onto products and items that do not require any special coating or polyester content, thus making the polymer, pigment and catalyst as the all-in-one transfer. The new toners also give improved durability to all fabric-based transfers, especially 100% cotton. The proprietary process and patented transfer papers enable users to print onto a multitude of products and substrates with one-of-a-kind results, cost effectively.

TheMagicTouch offer professional solutions that are easy to incorporate into an existing business with low entry level investment required. The latest TMT/Oki colour printer costs less than £500 and can be used for everyday business use as well as transfer papers.

2008 has seen "barriers removed" with printing of non-white garments and textiles with the new award winning WoW transfer paper for application on 100% cotton, nylon, denim, leather, neoprene, polyester and most sportswear fabrics. This year will see new versions of WoW for non textile/hard surface application.

The company introduce new versions of CPM6.2 and CPM6.4 transfer paper suitable for the transfer of full colour images to a wide range of non-porous, non-coated substrates including ceramics, plastic, metal, glass, acrylic, magnetic, wood and more recently Unibind folders. 2009 will see the introduction of a range of personalised packaging and short run boxes, printed in full colour.

The existing MagiCut range is extended to more than 140 different product options and effects including new snakeskin, marble and paint effect, all of  which will create lots of interest within the fashion and corporate markets.

Garment decorators need to adopt TheMagicTouch in 2009 as the new sales person enabling one of a kind samples to be forwarded to both existing and prospective customers.

Using this proactive method with existing clients will always pay dividends and is very cost effective marketing, that results in orders.

Printwear & Promotion will see the launch of the new MagiCut 6.0 professional software designed to encompass all aspects of garment decoration, but with user-friendly features for all levels of design competence.  TheMagicTouch have expanded the training facility in Dunstable, England, to increase the availability of places for the database and CRM courses as well as the MagiCut 6.0 professional.

The criteria for choosing digital equipment for garment decoration today need to suit the needs and demands of the market.  So where is the market?

Here in the UK 92% of businesses employ less than 24 people, so there is a massive un-tapped market of people and businesses that want decorated  Workwear/Leisurewear/Sportswear but just don't want too many, need them on a regular basis, and get to see a sample in advance!
