The company envisages further success in 2009 with the launch of new innovative products to follow on from the launch of the leather range of products in Autumn 2008.

Included in the leather range of products are items such as Italian leather laptop briefcases. "We have targeted the often neglected area of ladies' gifts and have a wonderful range of leather items, which includes a red leather laptop briefcase, leather ladies' evening purses, leather make-up bags, and toiletry bags," says Shugon.

Included in the range of new bags for 2009 are two non-woven bags, ideal for the promotional industry, as they are cost effective, practical and ideal for decoration, it adds.

With the emphasis on health and safety being seen ever more important, Shugon is introducing a 51-litre Hi-Viz workwear holdall and a compact 15-litre backpack; both with reflective strips on all four sides. These will complement the existing Hi-Viz backpack and Hi-Viz drawstring bags.

Also new for 2009 is a Microfibre laptop pouch suitable for 15.4" laptops. This will increase the versatility of many conference bags and briefcases, as it can be used in conjunction with these other bags, says Shugon.

The current range of conference bags has also been revised to ensure Shugon offers bags suitable for the price-conscious markets; so look out for details of these in the 2009 catalogue.
