UK workwear manufacturer expands
Published:  01 December, 2008

UK bespoke workwear manufacturer  EP Workwear has expanded into a new 15,000 sq ft building, which includes a modern factory and meeting room.

With a central location, just off the M6 in Willenhall, West Midlands, the new premises will be the hub for a technically advanced interactive design tool to make bespoke design garments.

EP Workwear has been manufacturing UK workwear garments since 1996, growing from a sub-contractor to an experienced UK manufacturer with over 45 distributors serving thousands of end users.

Company founder and md Taran Singh puts this success and the latest expansion down to hard work, client confidentiality, (EP Workwear does not manufacture for end users direct) and good, high quality British manufacturing. "The hard work and door knocking to get the business started was well worth the effort and EP Workwear's reputation for quality at competitive prices has seen the business grow year on year, especially in the bespoke workwear arena, where no job is too big or too small for us," said Singh.

Corporate garments, workwear and safety clothing are specifically designed for each individual end user strictly via the distributor and corporate supply chain. Keeping clients' information completely confidential is a task EP Workwear takes very seriously, as Singh explained: "We place client confidentiality very high on the list of giving the best service we can. All end users' patterns, designs and garments are keep under lock and key. Providing a high quality, confidential service has always been what we have aspired to do and this is why we have clients that bring us repeat business. As manufacturers we realise time and time again, confidentiality is key, as is trust - we never supply direct to the end user."

EP Workwear also offers a dedicated unit space at the new premises for customers to bring in clients and have meetings. This is a dedicated and fully self-contained area called ‘The meeting point.'

"The icing on the cake is that the location is extremely central, being just about three minutes away off Junction 10 of the M6," said Singh.

The company is also about to launch an interactive design tool via its new look website to accommodate the ever-growing popularity of its bespoke designs. "The website will be our online brochure as well as an interactive design service, literally saving hundreds of design hours - and therefore money - for clients."
