Blue Max Stag
A range of clothing for the great outdoors
Published:  31 October, 2008

BLUE Max Stag, importers and wholesalers of high quality clothing to the corporate and leisure wear sectors offers an extensive range of jackets ideal for outdoor use.

High-Vis jackets

The Hi-Visibility range from Blue Max offers outstanding performance in a variety of different styles, says the company.

"The demand for Hi-Vis has increased dramatically over the past year," says Mary Fawcus, business development director at Blue Max Stag. "Government legislation on health and safety at work is changing all the time and more and more, employers are having to provide their staff with high visibility clothing, indoors as well as outdoors."

Blue Max also anticipates that Hi-Vis will become an increasingly big requirement in the childrenswear sector.  As such, its new collection for 2008 will include a number of sizes for children.

The line up for 2008 includes the superb value ‘4 in 1' 300 denier jacket which incorporates a zip-in quilted fully reversible, reflective, waistcoast.  Also available is a Hi-Vis bomber jacket, a vest, a padded jacket and a lightweight jacket.

All jackets in the Hi-Visibility range are made from durable polyester and feature multi wash visibility tapes that are stitched to last. All items in the range conform to EN471 regulations.

The Exmoor

The Exmoor is now one of Blue Max's most popular jackets, providing warmth and a stylish design.

The Exmoor features Maxtech - a professional, moisture management fabric  which is both waterproof and breathable.  The jacket also features a quilted, cosy lining and a windproof outer layer. Added extras include a discrete toggle system in the side pockets and concealed hood and storm flap for rain protection. For music lovers, an inner pocket is designed specifically to accommodate an MP3 player and offers headphone access.

Reflective piping on the body and sleeves offers a safety feature and adds to the jacket's smart design.

The Exmoor comes in a variety of sizes, from children's to adults', and there are seven colours to choose from.

Polar fleece jackets

Blue Max Stag also offers a range of highly popular fleece jackets. "Fleece is a superb all-rounder for both corporate and leisure outerwear," says Fawcus. "It is a genuine easy care garment - a must for the modern consumer whose time is at a premium!". Customers can select from the Polar Fleece in eight colours, the Ladies Microfleece, which is fitted in shape, the quarter zip unisex microfleece or the Cogs value line offering great quality and value for money prices.

The Mistral

Since it was introduced around five years ago, the Mistral jacket has become one of the biggest sellers at Blue Max, thanks to its versatility and stylish design. The Mistral is a lightweight, weatherproof jacket affording flexibility and warmth without the bulk. The jacket, which is fully reversible, offers fleece on one side, and rip stop nylon on the other and comes with a host of features including a zipaway hood, zippered side pockets and mobile phone pocket. The Mistral makes an ideal outer layer for adults and children and comes in eight colourways.

Manual wear

"Those involved in the manual industry will benefit from the Penthouse Polo - a best-seller in the Blue Max Stag core range and a recognised brand leader of its type," says Fawcus. It is the Penthouse Polo's super tight knit, poly/cotton fabric that is key to its success, ensuring consistency, durability and reliability. The Penthouse Polo, also available in a gently fitted ladies version, comes in 12 colours and 13 different sizes.

Blue Max Stag also offers the ‘Cogs' line for those working to tight budgets. This is a ‘no frills' range of workwear clothing designed to provide excellent value without comprising essential quality standards. The Cogs line extends to polo shirts, sweatshirts and polar fleece jackets.

No manual workwear outfit would be complete without boots, says Blue Max. The new brochure features five different styles: the desert style boot, the rigger boot, the trainer and the safety boot in either basic or premium variations.  All boots are petrol/chemical/oil resistant and heat resistant to a minimum 200 degrees.
