Sublimation was first introduced over 25 years ago. Since then, its use has dramatically increased within the personalisation industry, says Lewis Print.
The process allows the imprint of a design onto products with a special coating. Artwork is scanned or designed on a computer. This is then printed in reverse using sublimation inks onto sublimation paper to produce a mirror image. This is then applied to the receptive product such as a mouse mat or mug using the relevant heat press.
Lewis Print Ltd offers an increasing range of blank imprintables, including ceramic mugs, mousemats and clocks.
"Quality is the key to perfect results every time," says md Jimmy Lewis-Humbert, "which is where Lewis Print comes top every time. There are cheap alternatives on the market, but they do not guarantee quality results every time."
Lewis Print offers a wide range of medias and bespoke transfers for garment decoration. Other products and services offered include sports numbers, bespoke transfers, garment films, screen printing and embroidery.
