The Hooded Top Co has managed to hold the price of its 300gsm Hooded Top, despite the pressures which are pushing prices up elsewhere in the industry.
The company, which was created as a division of TGI Corporation Ltd to supply hooded tops to the print and embroidery marketplace, claims it has so far fought off pressures such as rising oil prices and the increasing strength of the US Dollar against the Pound.
TGI has a strong presence in the university market place with its Cottonridge and Varsity brands made from 65% Cotton and 35% polyester 310gsm brushed fabric.
As a specialist in hooded tops, The Hooded Top Co aims to always have stock available to customers upon demand and has a stockholding of around 30,000 pieces at any one time. "We understand the extra administration and frustration caused by ‘out of stock' situations not to mention the damage done to your reputation when you have to go back to a customer and tell them that the 14 day delivery you quoted is now 30 days," it said.
It added: "We can price very competitively because we do not have to stock a wide range of garments, some of which would be slow sellers and invariably end up being subsidised by fast selling lines. The savings made easily outweigh the cost of the carriage incurred by purchasing hooded tops from The Hooded Top Co and the rest of the stock from your regular supplier."
All new customers are currently being offered free carriage on their first order. For details call 01543 278 558 or go to http://www.cottonridge.co.uk/
