Blue Max Stag
Back to school with Blue Max Stag
Published:  07 October, 2008

Blue Max Stag is now one of the largest suppliers of schoolwear lines in the UK to the garment decorating industry. A huge variety of lines are on offer, most of which are kept in stock at the warehouse.

Blue Max Stag has earned a reputation amongst its customer base for offering the best in quality, consistency and value. Highly stringent production procedures, and high performance fabrics ensure a perfect base for garment decoration and embroidery, it says.

All garments comply with the most up to date safety legislation and all materials used in the dying process for childrenswear are Oeko Tex compliant, while zips and toggle closures meet the most rigorous standards of safety. Blue Max Stag also has a customer-orientated philosophy. Service and delivery are key to the business and in order to meet demand, order taking operations are placed strategically around the UK and Blue Max Stag aims to deliver all stock items on a next day service.

The Penthouse Polo, a firm favourite with Blue Max customers and the first ever item in the Blue Max portfolio when the company first started 21 years ago, continues to be a runaway success, offering enduring quality and a huge variety of colours and sizes. Variations on the popular Penthouse theme include the gently waisted ladies' Penthouse available in a size 8 for older school children, the Tipped, and the 100% Cotton. To this the company offers a lighter weight Classic Polo, of similar construction, and also the value for money Cogs Polo shirt.

The highlight of the Schoolwear range is the Ziggys Blazer, a premium unisex blazer in five colours. The Designer Jacket is a more recent addition to the blazer range and is styled with jetted pockets and back vents for boys and a gently waisted shape for girls.

The new Grant's Blazer, introduced into the latest catalogue has already proved a great success with its outstanding quality combined with competitive pricing, says the company.

The Teflon coated 100% woven polyester fabric means this blazer is easy-care and highly durable and can be put in the washing machine, along with the rest of the school uniform, saving parents valuable time and money on dry cleaning. The Grant's blazer is now also available in bottle and maroon as well as navy and black.

The versatile quarter zip Microfleece is another recent addition to the Blue Max Stag schoolwear portfolio and provides a fashionable, functional extra layer for school children of all ages. This item offers an alternative to the more traditional sweatshirt and is available in four colours and 12 sizes.

There are several different styles of trousers including the new regular waist stylish modern cut version for girls. The catalogue also features five styles of skirts for girls and a pinafore dress available in four colours. Short and long sleeved shirts in 65/35 poly/cotton are a favourite with families for their easy care characteristics and a full sports range, now under the Medallion label, includes rugby shirts and football strips in high performance fabrics.
