Fruit of the Loom says it has everything you need to run a successful school uniform campaign at any time of the year. As well as a comprehensive selection of tried and tested modern school uniform styles - catering for nursery and reception age children up to A Level students - the company provides a portfolio of marketing tools that help you to drive up your school wear sales.
Alison Woodvine, European brand manager, says: "The Fruit of the Loom school wear offering begins with the garments. These range from T-shirts to shower-resistant outerwear, and include favourites, such as the 65/35 Polo and the Set-In Sweat. They are available in all of the most popular school colours and a wide range of sizes, with matching adult styles for the largest pupils. Importantly, every style has been thoroughly quality tested by our fabric technicians to ensure that it will meet the demands of the school environment." (The company even goes so far as to offer a guarantee that every one of its children's sweats will perform for the whole school year.)
Woodvine continues: "Full details of the entire product range are presented in our schoolwear brochure, with each garment style having been photographed in a school setting.
"The brochure spells out the quality and value benefits of choosing Fruit of the Loom school wear, and gives our customers a proven and highly effective sales and marketing tool with which to target school uniform buyers," says Woodvine.
It can be overprinted with customers' contact details and contains no contact information for Fruit of the Loom.
"Complementing the printed brochure is our new dedicated school wear website," adds Woodvine. "The site presents the full Fruit of the Loom school wear collection online, and customers can easily link to it from their own website."
The new site, (accessed via www.fruitoftheloom.eu), includes a host of interactive features that customers can incorporate into their school wear marketing campaigns. For example, the e-catalogue can be e-mailed directly to school wear buyers, enabling Fruit of the Loom customers to run a professional-looking electronic marketing campaign at no cost.
The Create Your Own Uniform facility encourages school wear buyers to upload their school badge or crest to see in an instant how it would look on any Fruit of the Loom school wear style. They can even save and print out their favourite options.
"The new website has been developed to provide further support to Fruit of the Loom customers, and help them to convey the many advantages of choosing Fruit of the Loom school uniforms," says Woodvine.
She concludes: "We are confident that the Fruit of the Loom school wear collection, supported by the printed and online marketing materials, and backed by our excellent reputation for product quality, consistency, value and availability, represents a compelling uniform solution to present to any parent or school."
