The UK's first qualification for the promotional industry has achieved almost double its planned target, with over 75 starting the course in September.
Bpma director of education Adrian Ferrand says: "I am truly delighted at the achievements of all concerned in getting this off the ground. We had hoped we would get a positive start but never dreamed it would be so high so soon, which just demonstrates how companies view the need for such a qualification."
Candidates are being invited to a one day seminar in London at the end of September and beginning of October. There will also be a practical print workshop at one of a number of suppliers around the UK during the course.
The rest of the course will be spread over three to five months. Candidates who pass will then be invited to a Graduation ceremony next year at the House of Commons. The next course starts in March 2009 and an early bird offer was due to be launched in late September.
