Most people are familiar with the Toyota brand name standing for quality and reliability, says Aisin UK, but often we forget about the safety of the operator of the embroidery machine, or the consequences of an accident.
"Although they are nobody's ‘fault' as such, we live in a blame and claim society after all, so this needs to be considered," it says. Aisin claims that to the best of its knowledge the Toyota embroidery machine is the only commercial embroidery machine on the UK market that complies with all the current regulation. This is a simple claim but a large element of safety for the owner of an embroidery business, it says.
Aisin suggests asking youself the following questions: Does your machine comply with C.E. regulations and are you issued an up to date certificate? Does your machine comply with the Machinery Directive? It could invalidate you Liability Insurance if you are not using a commercial machine. The Rosh directive also has to be complied with, as well as Weee for safe disposal and now Pfos.
"It is a nightmare for manufacturers and distributers alike," says Aisin, "but we must comply, does your machine? Is your supplier going to offer this guarantee?
"The Toyota ESP9100Net range of embroidery machines does, and we are the leading supplier of modular based embroidery machines in Europe and as such can help you get started in the embroidery industry with some of the best support and progress safely through expansion."
