Slick Stitch says it is the only contract embroidery with 275 heads that run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is also the only embroiderer to embroiderer above 50,000 garments a week, and claims to have the largest collection of new machinery in the country, with continued investment in systems, people and training.
It also provides a digitizing service and suggests ways for customers to choose a digitiser other than on price. For instance, clients should look for a UK based digitiser who punches deisgns in house, it says.
"Numerous digitsing houses use offshore digitisers (perdominantly India and China) with obvious disadvantages from a turnaround and communication point of view," says Slick Stitch. "But here at Slick Stitch we use our own UKbased digitsers and because of our unique shift patterns guarantee all designs before midday the following day. A same day service is also available."
It also believes its position as an embroider gives it a competitive edge. "How can you digitise designs without running embroidery machines?" it says.
"We strongly believe our volume embroidery outfit helps us digitse the best designs - digitising deisgns that embroider well once during a sample or numerous times during production can be two different methods."
