Mark Robinson Sewing & Embroidery Machines has recently moved to new industrial premises. The two-floor industrial unit complete with a sales office and showroom is a welcome move that md Mark Robinson expects to pay dividends in the future.
"The move has been a long time coming," he says. "We found that we could not meet the level of demands from our customers in our old premises, now thankfully we have a showroom to fully demonstrate and showcase our full range of embroidery machines. Also with the new building we now have the space to explore other types of screen and textile machines that many of our customers require."
Together with the move Robinson and his staff have designed new attachments for the Inbro machine, including a Car Mat and Horse Blanket frame. The frame is perfect for framing any piece of material that cannot be framed by the conventional frames, says Robinson. Current Inbro customers are welcome to contact the company to see a demonstration of the frame.
Working with a local company, it has also made a hand crafted Victorian Hand Cart, similar to one that a member of staff saw on a recent holiday to America. Robinson explains: "Whilst visiting one of the many shopping malls he came across an embroidery machine built into a purpose built stand that could be used in malls, market stalls or for exhibitions/fetes.
"We tweaked the idea to incorporate the Victorian Cart and the end result is an excellent stand for all types of specialised events. I realised that many customers now want to attend shows and exhibitions so this could be a popular add on to any embroidery business."
The company has also agreed with Maderia Threads to supply the AFS Framing System for the Inbro Embroidery Machine. The machine is an Automatic Badge Maker that runs on a continuous feed. It can be run on single head or multi head embroidery machines.
