2008 has been the year of the hoodie, with sales rocketing over the first six months.  In July 2008 Just Hoods by AWDis added six new colours to its JH001 Hoodie which is 80% cotton, 20% polyester and has a double fabric hood with self coloured cords and a kangaroo pouch pocket. The total amount of colours in this hoodie is 36 with sizes ranging from S-XXL.

Also due to popular demand the JH001B Kids Hoodie was introduced mid year.  The fabric combination and style in this garment is the same as the JH001 without the draw cords on the hood. This new Kids hoodie has 15 colours and fits ages 5/6 to 12/13. 

Market leader Jerzees has been a massive selling brand for the schoolwear market, as in previous years. Jerzees Schoolgear's 762B childrens raglan sweatshirt is made up of 52% polyester, 50% combed cotton and has spotshield stain resistant coating for fabric protection and tubular body construction for shape retention. This schoolwear jumper comes in 15 colours and ages _ to 11/12.

Result's RS160B junior reversible stormstuff jacket is waterproof PVC coated polyester pongee and pill resistant polyester polaire fleece reverse. This jacket has a concealed snap closing in the lower hem for print and embroidery and also has reflective warning safety triangles on the front and back of all four sides. The R160B comes in eight colours and ages 2/3 to 13/14.

Another success story for Prestige has been Gildan. Introduced in 2007, sales have grown at an incredible rate. Gildan's GD02 Ultra cotton adult T-shirt is made of 100% cotton pre-shrunk jersey and has an ultra tight knit surface and seamless double needle collar. This T-shirt comes in 60 colours, which include pine green and paprika, and in sizes S to 3XL.

 Gildan's GD57 Heavyweight blend adult hooded sweatshirt is 50% cotton, 50% polyester fleece and has been air jet spun for a softer feel and no pill and also has 1x1 athletic rib with lycra. This hooded sweatshirt has 25 colours and comes in sizes S to XXL.

Coming into autumn/winter is an ideal time for another of Prestige Leisure's new brands for 2008 - Regatta. The RG047 Fortitude Heavy Duty jacket is waterproof and breathable isotex 5000 coated heavy duty polyamide and has a high loft sherpa fleece lined upper body and a concealed zip entrance in the lining for embroidery access. This jacket comes in three colours and sizes range from S to 3XL.

The RG122 Thor III Fleece is 280 series anti-pill symmetry fleece and has two zipped lower pockets and adjustable shockcord hem. This fleece comes in eight colours and sizes range from XS to 3XL.

Teamwear has seen a massive increase in styles in the Prestige Leisure Brochure Collection 2008.

Finden and Hales' LV840 contrast track top is made of microfibre 230T peach finish woven, mesh lining and has a funnel neck collar and also has a MP3 chest pocket.  This top comes in four colourways and sizes S to XXL.

The LV850 contrast track pant is made of microfibre 230T peach finish woven, mesh lining and has zipped pockets and a large zip and hem access for easy dressing.  These pants come in four contrast colours and sizes S to XXL.

Kariban's KS111 ladies' performance trousers are made of 92% polyester, 8% elastane and are a cool, comfort and breathable dry fit. These trousers have two colours and sizes range from S to XL.
