Skinnifit have been in the business for nearly a decade now and have been instrumental in the development of womenswear within the corporate and promotional marketplace: bringing it from being very much an afterthought to the buoyant and in-demand sector it is today.
Their tremendous strength in garment style and quality were soon recognised and it was only a matter of time before Skinnifitmen was introduced to answer the demand for great looking, contemporary clothing within the menswear sector. It's this clever combination of style, wearability and quality that has seen the brand continue to shine year after year - and with a range now including tees, tops, tanks, hoodies, cargo's, fitnesswear and now jackets, Skinnifit's star looks certain to keep on ascending.
It's important to realise that Skinnifit womenswear is not one-size, nor is it solely for skinny folk. The majority of Skinnifit women's styles are available in sizes S - XL: catering from a UK 8 up to a 16/18. Skinnifitmen's mostly S - XXL too: proving that you don't have to be whippet-thin to quality for good looking promotional and/or corporate wear!
The Modern Essential range is proving to be a big hit with customers: with their Modern Essential (women's) T being the market leader in the stretch T segment. All Skinnifit's Modern Essential range combines the comfort of (96%) cotton with the fantastic fit and performance advantages of (4%) elastane: a combination which is delighting customers and decorators alike.
Skinnifit know it's important to keep pushing their ranges forward and into new categories. Jackets and knitwear are both new to Skinnifit and the brand are reporting incredibly positive sales on their men's and women's cargo jackets and their Sloppy Jo knit - both of which offer something new and exciting to the marketplace and the customer.
Also new and more than warranting its place within the range is Skinnifit's Yoga Wear collection of 3 stretchy and unbelievably comfortable pieces that are equally at home worn with jeans on the high street as they are in any sort of sporting arena. The range is perfect for everyone from gym bunnies to couch potatoes. The sleeveless hood is of particular note and is a great layering and/or addition piece which can be worn over T's when the weather is at the "in between" stage!
In these market conditions it's important to give the customer something that will last, that performs and is absolutely fit for purpose in order to maximise the impact. Skinnifit made a decision not to join the race for the cheapest T: preferring to focus on aims of quality and added value. It's this focus on customer benefit and product quality that underpins the brand. If the wearer feels great, in a product that looks fantastic and actually fits well, then surely the impact of logo or design will be maximised.
Skinnifitmen is the only brand in the marketplace catering solely for men without any mention of "potentially unisex products". This means that all development, fitting and fabric selection is done with men in mind. Yes, there are "matching" products in both Skinnifitmen and Skinnifit, but you'll find that the styling and fabric choices are not necessarily the same. The layered T is a prime example of this: in Skinnifit womenswear it's made in a soft'n'stretchy cotton interlock which hugs the body, whereas in Skinnifitmen it's a smooth jersey fabric which doesn't have the same "cling" factor.
Skinnifit is unique within the industry because of the range: it's now, it's new and the brand is not hesitant about introducing new colours or shapes to the market. Skinnifit don't follow other brands within the industry: their development processes focus on what's happening on the high street and in retail trends. Their Trackie Top - available in both men's and women's fit - is unique in the marketplace and offers the same styling, fabric and retro look as promoted in the High Street today.
Lighterweight fabrics have been coming through as a strong trend within t-shirtwear on the High Street and look set to continue. The slightly more relaxed fit and gentler shape is proving to be a wonderful alternative to the more fitted T's we've been seeing, and can appeal to both sexes. Skinnifit's Fineweight range weighs in at a workable 140gsm 100% cotton jersey - which is stable and workable for decorators, light enough to offer a differentiation from other T's, and a pure joy to wear.
The marketplace today is undeniably more demanding, and much of this is due to the customers' demand that imprintable clothing should actually look like something they would choose to wear. Skinnifit (and Skinnifitmen) customers and end-users span a wonderfully wide age group demonstrating that style isn't an age thing and that the aim of providing great looking clothes to suit a whole host of folk and end uses really does work - and work well.
And last, but by no means least, is Skinni Minni. This wonderfully compact range of 3 styles represents all that's great about Skinnifit but in a smaller format.
