Menswear within the teamwear sector is all about comfort, performance and the look, says teamwear specialist Finden+Hales. "In a team situation it's important to create garments that suit a variety of shapes, sizes and ages: what works on a size XS has to work on a size 2XL as well," it states.
Clothing that's suited to and developed for an active environment, whether playing sport or chasing your own tail, is very strong in terms of trends this year, it says. One of the most important product characteristics the brand is being asked for is the ability of a fabric to move moisture (sweat) from the inside of the garment (i.e. next to the skin) to the outside where it can freely evaporate. This allows the wearer to be more comfortable and means that the garment doesn't become increasingly heavy the more it absorbs. Finden+Hales has ensured that this ability comes via the fibres themselves rather than any chemical finish that might wash off.
Fit is also becoming more important within the menswear sector. The brand suggests decorators now look for slimmer fits and silhouettes when looking at modern teamwear and menswear: and fabric technology allows narrower silhouettes.
Finden+Hales has ensured that all the garments within its menswear range co-ordinate with each other.
