New and exclusively launched in 2008 through UKL is ALO Sports, a range of high quality, high performing garments from the creators of Bella. The women's garments feature contour cuts and co-respondent colours. The collection is made from performance fabrics that have quick dry and anti-microbial treatments to ensure comfort and freshness whatever the condition.

The W1004 Short Sleeve T and W3004 Long sleeve T have been created from a 67% bamboo and cotton blend. Bamboo is a sustainable crop and when turned into fabric has inherent wicking and anti-bacterial properties. The fabric is also breathable and hypoallergenic.

Hot on ALO's heels is sister brand Bella. The brand has created seven new styles to take us through 2008 as well as the introduction of some super new tones, including Leaf and Currant. These styles include longer length sheers that are guaranteed to flatter the body by creating a slim silhouette and longer body and the BA6020 Organic Cotton Short Sleeve T.

UKL was the first UK distributor to work with the Mantis label and the relationship continues to grow in 2008 with UKL becoming UK's only full line distributor. The M01 Skinny T remains a core classic and is complimented by the M01TLC, an organic version in four different colours.

This year's M103 Box T is a longer line, body-skimming shape with a relaxed neckline.

This year, Mantis has taken the decision to phase out the traditional neck label. Over the coming months customers will see the distinctive black and lime label disappear from the neck, though the size label and a trademark Mantis swing tag will remain. A style code label is being inserted behind the sizing for easy reference and the Mantis brand identity will be moved to the wash care label. This move is sure to be  popular within the fast fashion and music / concert industries.
