Inspired by classic US sportswear designs

Sports' growing influence on retail fashion and leisure clothing is penetrating the promotional market, according to Fruit of the Loom, whose Baseball and Ringer Ts address the demand for sporty casual wear.

"The global appeal and profile of professional sports has never been higher," explains Alison Woodvine, European brand manager, "and the increased interest in spectator sports is driving the current demand for more sports-influenced everyday leisure wear. Classic American sports designs are particularly fashionable in retail at present and this development is now opening up further opportunities in the imprint market."

The Baseball and Ringer Ts are both made from 100% cotton, (160/165 gm/m2) fabric and are available in a wide range of both basic and more fashion-forward contrast colourways. The Baseball T comes in a choice of long and short sleeve styles and is based on the traditional US baseball shirt design - raglan sleeves with matching colour neck band and contrast colour body, (in a lighter shade or white). The Ringer T features single colour body and set-in sleeves with darker contrast colour neck band and sleeve trim. Each style comes in sizes S-XXL.

"This summer, we are expecting the Baseball and Ringer Ts to be in particularly high demand and recommend them as a great value alternative to more traditional promotional wear styles," adds Woodvine.
