Many brands have taken this on board and developed a wide range of performance fabrics, mixed with style and teamwear colours to give buyers the ability to create their own co-ordinated look.

Finden+Hales has added 32 new products including performance and teamwear garments ideal for sports, training and fitness purposes. The teamwear range consists of performance t-shirts to keep the body cool, waterproof jackets which keep the wearer dry, and microfleece jackets for warmth and protection. The brand's performance fabric Coolplus consists of specially modified polyester fibres which enable rapid absorption of moisture from the skin surface.

The LV270 Coolplus Piped T-Shirt comes in four colourways with raglan panelling and cuffs with piping; while the LV371 Ladies Coolplus Performance Piped Polo also has raglan panelling and cuffs with piping and a two-button placket.

Tombo's new ‘IQ' performance fabric wicks moisture away from the skin to keep the wearer cool during exercise. There are T-shirts and polo shirts available made from the ‘IQ' fabric, which are available in a variety of colour combinations.

Also new for Tombo are two base layer tops for warm and cold weather. The TL70 Long Sleeved Body Kit designed to be worn next to the skin to keep the body cool during exercise and the TL71 Short Sleeved Body Kit designed to keep the body warm. Also adding matching teamwear garments to its range is Kustom Kit GameGear.

Kariban is launching its Kariban Sport range into the UK market for 2008. This range of sportswear combines style with performance fabrics in t-shirts, polos, shorts, trousers and sweatshirts for sports, training and fitness wear.

The cool comfort breathable and dry fit KS303 Ladies Full Zip Sweatshirt has two front pockets, a wide rib at the waistband and binding at the sleeve ends. The KS111 Ladies Performance Trousers are also dry fit and come in Black and Dark Grey to co-ordinate with the KS303.

Dedicated sportswear brands Ashworth, Callaway, Canterbury and Glenmuir are all adding to their already successful ranges of golfwear and rugbywear.

Glenmuir has also added Performance fabrics to its range including the Coolmax GM46 Performance Club Polo which has a moisture management system and UV Protection.

Sports and Teamwear accessories are also available. BagBase has a selection of sports bags to choose from, with three new teamwear styles in a combination of contrast colour sweeps, flowing lines, six sporty colourways and high visibility accents.

Finden+Hales also offers the LV970 Team Towel which is super absorbent and has contrast binding in either Black/Red or Navy/Royal colourways.
