A selection of highly advanced fabrics have been used within the range from Tech3 fleece through to Softshell. The cutting edge Soft Shell fabrics deliver excellent breathability properties combined with water resistance and total wind protection, says Result.

Soft Shell is a lightweight fabric that stretches to further enhance performance and comfort levels, required for today's ever-demanding outdoor lifestyle. It offers high levels of warmth and is ideal as an outer layer when worn in dry and cold weather conditions and as a mid layer when worn with a waterproof outer garment.

The styles available include: The R120 Soft Shell Activity Jacket, which is made from a soft, high stretch 345g/m2 Soft Shell 3 layer bonded fabric with a TPU breathable waterproof membrane mid layer and a micro fleece inner layer for extra warmth.

There is also the New R117 High-Viz Soft Shell - a high-viz Soft Shell that carries an EN471 specification and is class 2 approved, and the R56 Ripstop Team Jacket, which is windproof and water resistant and manufactured from tough 210T Ripstop Nylon with a single jersey body lining.

The R86 Tech3 Sport Fleece uses Tech3, a high density filament yarn that traps body heat whilst allowing the body to breathe and perspiration to rapidly wick out. Standard fleece is knitted to a 72 filament yarn, micro-fibre is 96 and Tech3 is 140.

To compliment the already popular R69M Extreme Weather Jacket Result has released the R69F Kelvin Extreme Weather Jacket for women. Whilst incorporating Result's Elite Breathable Weatherproof Technology, the R69 is manufactured from microfibre with GUY-TEX 2 layer lamination and Dupont Teflon PU coating.The inner has 3M Thinsulate insulation to the body and sleeves, and Result's own Polartherm Techmesh lining, which boasts air permeability, moisture management and body heat retention.
