Workwear World, a family run business and Ralawise customer, has had to make some extra space on its shop floor after winning a prize draw for 30 coloured hoodies, courtesy of hoodie manufacturer AWDis.
Simon Barton visited the AWDis stand at the Printwear & Promotion in March and, after filling out a short questionnaire, was entered into the prize draw to win a sample of every single coloured hoodie that AWDis offers. Six jars of jelly beans were also awarded to lucky recipients.
Barton said: "We were attracted by the vibrant colours of the stand. The whole colour palette range they have is really eye catching and each hoodie looks great. When we got talking to the representatives at the stand I was impressed by the quality of goods they offer. We've only had the hoodies on display for two days but already they've generated a significant amount of interest."
Previously firmly positioned in the leisurewear market, the hoodie is now becoming more prominent in the workwear market, as a comfortable and effective solution to the demands of the working day.
The AWDis hoodie range is available in 30 distinct colours, including fire red, sun yellow, lime green and red hot chilli, as well as classic colours such as air force blue, arctic white and charcoal.
The hoodies feature a double fabric hood, twin needle stitching and a kangaroo pouch pocket. The fabric is a combination of 80% cotton and 20% polyester, making it comfortable and hardwearing. Ralawise offers AWDis hoodies as part of its new 2008 range.
