Xpres continues to extend its innovative line of digital transfer technology and consumables, offering a combination of low set-up and consumable costs to produce shorter runs of personalised clothing and promotional products both quickly and profitably.
A key introduction for 2008 is the Duo Trans 4880 - a new 2-in-1 professional printer for the volume user. With the ability to print up to A2 size in superb detail, the 4880 has two separate ink banks - one for sublimation and one for regular ink, meaning that you can now produce sublimation transfers and full colour garment transfers using just one machine. "The Duo Trans is therefore perfect for those looking to personalise clothing in addition to the wide range of promotional sublimation gifts available from Xpres, including ceramic mugs and money boxes, mousemats, coasters, jigsaws, clocks, teddy bears, key rings and plaques, to which full colour photography and detailed logos can be applied with clear and permanent results," says Xpres.
Xpres has also recently introduced a second option to its engraving range, the new Metaza MPX-80 which offers a host of enhanced features. Supplied with a jig for engraving special shapes, the MPX-80 can also engrave objects with curved surfaces, such as pens, at a markedly faster speed. The Metaza provides an opportunity to produce a range of jewellery, gifts, trophies and treasured keepsakes. Innovative RPMS technology allows you to imprint photos, line art and text onto surfaces including brass, silver, gold, platinum, aluminium and acrylic, with crisp, sharp edges every time. A range of products including high quality rhodium plated pendants, metal key rings and a choice of silver plated corporate gifts all for personalisation with the Metaza system are also available from Xpres.
"The Ultragraphics system continues to be incredibly popular with the textile decoration market," says the company. "This is a very versatile package that combines the best-selling Xpres Cut vinyl cutter with a choice of printers. In addition to producing single and multi colour logos, this system will also produce full colour, fine detail transfers. The vinyl cutter has an optical alignment system that automatically detects registration marks produced by the printer, enabling fast and accurate cutting out of transfers. This method of personalisation is extremely cost effective, producing high performing transfers durable enough to be washed at up to 80°C, making it ideal for work wear, corporate wear and sports wear applications."
