Transfer specialist Victory Design has updated its range of films and solutions for 2005 with the launch of EasiMARK, including developed and improved films, essential for the garment industry.

Previously known as the Hotmark range, Victory's new brand - EasiMARK - includes films for nylon (EasiMARK nylon) and sportswear (EasiMARK Sports) application with printable films to improve the quality of full colour logos EasiMARK Dark & Colourprint)

The easiMARK Nylon film has been developed following customer demand for a film that can handle this difficult application. Due to the issues of PU coated nylon, Victory have worked with manufacturers to overcome this problem. This new film allows customers to transfer onto nylon without having to preheat the garment.

Another benefit of the film is that it can be applied using a range of temperatures and times. This is because customers pressing onto a nylon bag compared to a padded nylon jacket will have to adjust so AS not to cause damage to the nylon material.

Victory Design Sales Advisor Glynn Denton explained that this launch follows around a year's research into the possibility of such a product, and the freedom to press direct has now been achieved.

The easiMARK Nylon range is available in a total of 26 colours, Glynn said, 'The nylon range is completely different to everything else decorators may be using, it will save you time, is very efficient, melts into nylon and can be multilayered.' 'We also provide customers with free help and advise and a free testing service onto nylon should they need our help.'

Another new film from Victory in 2005 is the EasiMARK Sport film. This has been designed for for decoration of sports garments, but can also be freely used on workwear as it can be washed at a temperature of 60°C.

The biggest advantage of the Sport film is that generally the carrier will have a certain 'tackiness' to it due to the adhesive. With EasiMARK Sport, this has been eliminated which will allow the fast and easy weeding of large detailed work and once completed can be stacked without causing any damage to the design.

This is a real benefit is for the high-volume producer, who will experience busy and quiet periods throughout the year. For example, a sportswear manufacturer who sees the majority of business in the summer will be quiet in the winter when demand is lower.

As the tackiness is gone, the transfers for popular customers with repeat and high quantity orders can be cut and weeded ready for pressing in the summer during the quieter times. This process will see no damage when the pre-prepared designs are stacked due to the lack of adhesive. Glynn said, 'This is doing really well for the sportswear people. It enables them to stock up all their numbers and use them when they are busy.'

The easiMARK Sport range is available in a choice of eight colours and is suitable for cotton and polyester fibres.

The easiMARK range is extremely durable and suffers no damage when it is stretched, pulled or even washed at high temperatures. Victory has had a very positive response to both of the new films since they were first launched at the 2005 Printwear & Promotion exhibition.
