Victory on the fairway, whatever the weather

From the wettest, windiest day to the sunniest, a keen golfer will want to brave any weather to feel victory on the fairway. Protection from the elements, then, is an essential consideration when choosing the perfect golfing get-up, but what golfers really want is attire that combines this without restricting movement. Sportswear expert Tombo says it knows the importance of allowing for free range of movement - knowledge it combines with the latest in fabric technology and garment design.

Tombo offers a number of training tops and bottoms, all of which are both shower and wind proof. With a Teflon coating, the TL41 Sports Training Top is perfect for wet days on the green, says Tombo. Available in black or navy with white piping, it also has fully meshed sleeves with a splash-proof lining for further protection.

Another option is the TL45 Half Zip Training Top. Made from 100% polyester microfibre, it has a peached finish and mesh panelling. With zip pockets on both side seams and on the back, it's available in black, dark green, navy, navy/white piping, black/red/white piping. For bottom-half protection, Tombo offers the TL48 Open Hem Unlined Training Bottoms. Made from 100% polyester microfibre with a peached finish, these trousers have an elasticated waist and drawcord, front and back pockets and are available in black and navy.

Tombo has also developed a performance wear range that works with the wearer to improve their game. Men's and ladies' Performance Wicking Polo Shirts (TL64 and TL68) have mesh panelling at the front and back side panels, underarms and at the top centre back panel. Available in navy/white piping and black/white piping, these two polo shirts are made from IQ performance fabric, which wicks moisture away from the body to keep the wearer cool when the competition's hot! Tombo's new TL65 Tombo Pique Polo Shirt is another top half option for warmer spring or summer days. Made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton pique mix, it's available in four attractive colour options, all with white piping on the body and the edge of the placket.
