BTC Group has become a full member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) - a unique achievement for a company specialising in promotional clothing and general merchandise, it says.
The aim of the ETI is to ensure that the supply chain working conditions of workers producing for the UK market meet or exceed international labour standards. As part of its commitment to compliance with the ETI Base Code, BTC Group md Frank Murphy and sales director Paul Beirne have attended Supply Chain Management workshops at the ETI Headquarters .
Frank Murphy said: "It is essential that our clients feel safe in the knowledge that every effort is being made to guard their reputation and prevent association with illegal labour practices."
