BPMA brings together UK marketing associations for key industry seminars
Published:  04 April, 2008

The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) will contribute to a series of key marketing seminars at the forthcoming Promotional Marketing Exhibition in collaboration with other leading marketing services associations.

The series of seminars will be coordinated on behalf of the Marketing Association Alliance (MAA), a new initiative founded by the BPMA to share knowledge and experiences across all marketing disciplines and highlight how they all form part of integrated marketing campaigns within the marketing industry.

The seminars will take place at the Promotional Marketing Exhibition, Olympia, London, 15-17 April on The Marketing Association Alliance stand number 219. They will include ‘The Industry Forum', an interactive seminar event that will enable visitors to address key industry issues with a panel of representatives from each member organisation.

Seminar topics range from increasing the impact of premiums on direct mail, innovations in print, mobile marketing and ideas on how to promote your website. They will be held in collaboration with the Alliance's other associations: The Direct Marketing Association (DMA), The Institute of Sales Promotion (ISP), Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI), The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) and The Voucher Association (VA).

BPMA Director General, Gordon Glenister said: "The aim of the Marketing Association Alliance is to bring together like minded trade associations in the marketing industry, enabling them to share knowledge and experience, allowing them to learn more about each other's sphere of expertise."
