Sharon Lee received a great response to its new Lucifer Cap during the exhibition, hailing the show "the best ever".
The Lucifer Cap (so named after the giver of light) has two built in LED lights in the peak and works on two levels: as a functional hat (for workers etc.) and as a promotional gimmick.
It offers clarity up to 10ft, 25 degrees north and 25 degrees south of the line of sight, and the batteries last for 20 hours continuously. All components are ROSH approved.
Sharon Lee is the joint exclusive distributor of the cap, which is initially being sold in basic colours and a high vis version. There is potential for many other colours, plus for the cap to be incorporated with Sharon Lee's Tuff Cap.
Sharon Lee's Toby Pache said: "Three quarters of enquiries at the show have been about the Lucifer - and that's without any pre-show publicity. The show was our vehicle to get it out there."
He added: "We have had enquiries which could run into thousands for a big event and also from embroiderers for sports clubs, workwear etc. We are very excited about it."
