A.W.T. World Trade, Inc. has announced that it will be manufacturing M&M's Centurian Automatic Textile Printer.
Together with other well-respected machines such as the Cameo, Hercules, Vanguard, Daytona (and others), the Centurian will be manufactured at the group's corporate headquarters and central manufacturing facility in Chicago, IL.
The American M&M Centurian combines the latest electronic technology with the finest, high-speed textile printer available today. With a standard speed of 75 dozen garments per hour, the Centurian incorporates over 20 advanced features for the ultimate in operator convenience and print quality.
The Centurian's PLC Controller with its Touch-Screen Interface provides maximum operator control. This central programming station uses multiple screen menus listing press commands in simple language, rather than complex numeric or alpha codes. Each menu offers the choice of operation control, production data feedback, or diagnostic troubleshooting.
The electro-mechanical indexer and carriage drive provide consistent print/flood cycling for smooth results from front to back. The Centurian's lock-in heads and pallet-tip supports guarantee even print pressure over the entire image for zero pallet deflection, providing even tone throughout the print stroke.
Additional features include pneumatic locking forks for .001 registration repeatability; a special production/set-up mode permitting indexer operation from any print station; front-loading screens; stroke length sensors that can locate the stroke length anywhere within the print area; an air-controlled squeegee system that automatically maintains uniform print pressure throughout the print stroke and across the entire print length.
