You ‘Too-Kan' design a bag with ease
Published:  28 February, 2008

Promotional carrier bag specialist and merchandiser, Kan-do-it has created a special guide to help its suppliers and their clients know everything about paper, cotton and even plastic bags.

The guide, ‘Welcome to the World of Bags', introduces Trevor the Toucan, who demonstrates the most important information needed when choosing a promotional bag. All of the information is contained in a small fold-out leaflet which can be attached onto the back of a business card.

"The whole idea is to guide sales teams of promotional distributors and agencies around bags, so that they can really help their customers to chose the bags appropriate to their target audience," said managing director Catrina Clarke.

"Carrier bags have so many possibilities - we have come a long way from the humble brown paper bag; customers are now considering cotton and jute carriers as standard, as well as boutique paper bags with a rope handles, and we wanted our distributors and marketers to know the options available."

She added: "A promotional carrier bag can really finish off a promotional campaign, and if it is tailored to the project, can make it really stand out from the rest.We hope that Trevor will educate those with promotional spending power, so that when they plan their next campaign, they know what questions they should be asking to simplify the process, or indeed what options are available to make their bag truly eye catching."

The 16-page guide features everything required to design a bag, from size, style and handle options to materials and printing processes. For a copy of the guide call 023 8045 6611 or go to http://www.kan-do-it.com/.
