Promotional merchandise and gift company BTC Group has achieved ISO 14001 accreditation, designed to help companies achieve consistent environmental compliance and continuous improvements in environmental performance.
The accreditation applies to the environmental aspects the company can control and influence and is compatible with BTC Group's existing ISO 9001 accreditation for quality management resulting in a seamlessly integrated management system.
Managing director, Frank Murphy, said: "This has been yet another great achievement and important step for BTC Group in strengthening our positioning and integrity as a supplier. It is also rapidly becoming a key requirement for both our prospective and existing clients."
The ISO 14001 accreditation shows a commitment to comply with legislation, prevent pollution, and to continually improve the Environmental Management System.
BTC Group celebrated 30 years of trading in 2007, specialising in promotional and merchandising initiatives, with a full service inhouse resource including screen printing, embroidery, design and merchandise programmes with warehousing and fulfilment.
