"It's awesome," says AJS Embroidery of its new embroidery software, "a jaw-dropping technology that no one has offered before."
The Embroidery i2 software plug-in works inside Adobe Illustrator. Draw or open a vector file, assign a stitch effect, adjust embroidery parameters, and you're ready to sew the design on the embroidery machine.
"Embroidery i2 for Adobe Illustrator is intuitive and loaded with great features," says the company. "It works on both the Mac and PC and creates amazing embroidery with stitch quality that is second to none. Embroidery i2 has a short learning curve, so you are ready to embroider sooner."
And using Embroidery i2 means you don't have to struggle with independent software packages or vector compatibility issues, it adds.
Embroidery i2 for Adobe Illustrator is ideal for screen printers, creative professionals, promotional product companies, and digitisers.
"Customer logos and vector artwork can be quickly and easily converted into embroidery designs," says AJS. "You will have complete control to create perfect embroidery, whether it is simple text, corporate logos or gallery worthy art embroidery. There are garment recipes to help you along, so you don't have to guess the parameters needed to sew on pique, sweats, fleece, jackets, etc. With Embroidery i2 it is also easy to create embroidery lettering with over 100 specially digitised embroidery fonts, including special fonts for small lettering."
There will be a demo of Embroidery i2 at the AJS stand (stand D10) at the Printwear & Promotion Exhibition,March 2-4 at the NEC Birmingham
