Over the past 10 years, the promotional industry has become a more challenging and demanding market.
It is constantly bombarded with regulations from the authorities both in the UK and the EU and, more recently, increasingly from customers who are requesting documentation relating to the environmental and ethical production of products.
In view of the demands now being made of the supply chain, protection of clients is imperative for suppliers who do not manufacture their own product range.
PROMOTA, the trade association for the promotional industry in the UK and Ireland, is well aware of the problems that can arise. As a result, it offers its members steadfast legal advice should they ever experience difficulties in this area.
The International PROMOTA Show 2008 takes place at Birmingham's NEC on 19 and 20 February. It will be a fantastic opportunity to talk to suppliers and discuss their new product ranges.
