Fruit of the Loom will be conjuring up the exotic sights and sounds of North Africa at four industry trade shows in early 2008: PSI Dusseldorf, Communiquez Textile, TVP, and Expo Reclam.
In celebration of its new state-ofthe- art Moroccan manufacturing plant, the company will display its full range of products on an exhibition stand inspired by the ancient medinas of Marrakech and shifting sands of the Sahara.
Visitors can view Fruit of the Loom’s 73 activewear styles inside a ‘Bedouin tent’, or seated in the shade of towering palms. They will be able to discuss their specific requirements, or learn more about the new plant, while sipping refreshing mint tea accompanied by the restful sounds from tiled water features. And every visitor will also receive a complimentary copy of The Road To Morocco 2008, Fruit of the Loom’s new 116-page catalogue, along with a free themed gift bag.
The company will be unveiling four new garment styles from its 2008 catalogue collection at the shows – the Screen Stars Original Polo, Lady- Fit 65/35 Polo, Baseball Hooded Sweat, and Children’s Sweat Jacket – as well as the new Children’s American Heavy T.
“We are very proud of our new plant, and wanted to celebrate the positive impact it will have on both the local Moroccan community and our European customers,” said Alison Woodvine, European brand manager.
The trade shows take place on the following dates: PSI Dusseldorf, January 9-11, 2008, (Düsseldorf, Germany); Communiquez Textile, January 23-25, 2008, (Lyon, France); TVP, January 25-27, 2008, (Stuttgart, Germany); and Expo Reclam, February 13-15, 2008, (Madrid, Spain).
