Direct to garment printer and pigmented ink manufacturer Kornit Digital has received approval from Oeko-Tex, the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology, for digitally printing on babies' clothing.
Kornit developed the high-end pigmented inks and chemical formulations for babies’ clothing to meet the growing demand within the direct to garment market. “The aim was to achieve the optimum solution for these little but important clients,” it said. “And we hit the jackpot with the new babysafe V 201 White ink.”
The results of the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 inspection showed that Kornit's digitally printed cotton and polyester fabrics meet the human-ecological requirements of the standard presently established for baby articles.
Kornit Digital, available in the UK through Adelco, develops, manufactures and markets Direct on Garment printers, superior pigmented ink and unique chemistry solutions for the garment and apparel printing industry.
