Blue Max is delighted to announce several recent appointments to bolster the sales team.
Jeremy Phillips joined the team at the beginning of the year as Business Development Manager. Initially his role is to assist Mary Fawcus, who founded Blue Max, with growing the business. Jeremy's background strengths are in customer relationships and he will be working closely with many of the Blue Max customers to help them build their business.
His Sales Team has been enhanced by the addition of Ruth van Wyk and Sue Keates who have both joined recently and who both, coincidentally, spent much of their lives in Africa.
In addition to Ruth's sales and administrative skills, she is also a qualified cricket scorer and will happily chat to anyone for ages about cricket! Sue's experiences in Africa include running Safari Parks with her husband, often after having been unceremoniously dropped in at the deep end.
Dave Hamblin will also be taking your telephone calls and sales orders as well as providing internal support in other areas including IT.
One of Jeremy's first tasks was to help with the development of the new look 'bespoke' Blue Max stand for the 2005 Printwear & Promotion show, which received a great deal of positive comments.
Speaking about the show, Jeremy said, 'This is the one time of the year where we can display our range of garments to our customers, who in many cases have only seen the products in our catalogue. The idea behind the stand was to create an open and welcoming platform, to display the range as simply as possible. The Show also gives us the perfect opportunity to meet old and new customers, get valuable feedback face to face, and to further reinforce the brand, and the philosophy behind Blue Max. Having spoken to many visitors, we all felt that the show was a great success, and well worth the extra time and effort required to achieve the new look stand.'
