PenCarrie is preparing for the 2008 Printwear & Promotion Exhibition with enthusiasm, as David Abrahams, marketing manager for the company, says: “The exhibition provides a great opportunity to meet people face to face. Last year we were delighted with the number of visitors to our stand and we hope to see even more people this year.
“People enjoy the unpressurised atmosphere on our stand; we like people to have the opportunity to chat about business in a relaxed and open manner. We can hear about decorators’ requirements, learn more about the market from their standpoint, and react accordingly. Our visitors, we hope, will enjoy being able to see the many new products we offer, to handle them at leisure and take time to appreciate their special features: things you can’t achieve just by referring to a printed brochure or a website.”
PenCarrie can be found on Stand D40, right in the middle of the exhibition hall. New products from the many top brands that the company represents will be on display, together with selections from their existing ranges. This year PenCarrie has added three brands to its portfolio and their products will also feature, namely: outerwear from Regatta; activewear from Kariban Sport; plus, from new entrant AWDis, a good, basic design hoody in a wide range of colours. The hoody is the first of a series of ‘staple’ clothing items for the volume end of the market from the brand whose name stems from “All We Do is .....” . People to meet on PenCarrie’s stand include Paul Persey, founder of the company and executive chairman, and Tony Lock, who was appointed managing director in October 2007. Members of the customer services team and the marketing team will also be present and ready to discuss ideas for supporting garment decorators in maximising the potential of their businesses.
PenCarrie’s stand is also designed to be a place to relax. Visitors are welcome to linger after exploring the stand to the full. There’s an on-stand competition to enter; and the chance to enjoy a drink in the bar area while watching a DVD showing the fascinating and complex task of creating PenCarrie’s legendary brochure.
