PenCarrie has chosen a wide variety of new corporatewear styles for 2008. They include, from Russell Collection, a new range of shirts made from fabrics incorporating Tencel, the brand name for Lyocell, a natural fibre extracted from wood pulp.
New tops for women from Kustom Kit “demonstrate the brand’s special flair for bringing femininity and fashion to the workplace”, says PenCarrie, while a bow tie from Premier gives its own twist to formal businesswear and is just one of the new ties PenCarrie is offering.
The new Russell Collection garments with Tencel are ideal for those constantly on the move but who must always look smart (staff at exhibitions and conferences; sales teams on the road; drivers and reception staff in the travel and hospitality trade). The fibre structure of Tencel keeps the wearer cool and dry and therefore comfortable and focused on their work, says PenCarrie. Described as being ‘as soft as silk yet as strong as polyester’, Tencel is a pleasure to wear and resilient at the same time, it adds.
Russell Collection shirts made using the brand’s new Tencel Lyocell Twill/Cotton mix fabrics include the classic styled 952M Long Sleeve Tencel Corporate Shirt and the 952F matching ladies design. There are also two fitted shirt styles, one for men and one for women. The Ladies’ Tencel Fitted Shirt 954F has three-quarter sleeves and a relaxed, long edged, open style collar. The men’s 945M differs slightly in that it has long sleeves and a stiffened, semi cut-away boned collar.
Kustom Kit’s new cotton tops for women have interesting necklines, are shapely and have 5% elastane for comfort stretch and fit. Raglan sleeves complement the softly flattering necklines of the K771 Ladies Ruched Neck Corporate Top.
The K772 Ladies Sleeveless Square Neck Corporate Top has a more structured, sophisticated look. Both tops are available in black or white and either would be a good choice for staff in health spas and beauty salons; for reception staff in hotels and offices; and for bar/restaurant staff in informal establishments.
For formal situations, Premier’s PR705 Bow Tie, with its handy hook and bar fastening, is a welcome new arrival. Individually boxed, PenCarrie envisages the bow ties being used as exclusive gifts, distributed to guests or conference delegates in their hotel rooms ahead of a corporate dinner. They will also be used, PenCarrie believes, as staff wear, for bouncers as much as for Maître Ds. For daytimes and less formal wear, Premier’s new PR766 Candy Stripe Business Tie adds to the many choices the brand offers and is an excellent complement to Premier’s wide range of shirts, including the PR230 Long Sleeve Oxford Shirt.
