CKL has been selected by Sony Computer Entertainment UK (SCE UK) as its supplier of blank garments for the multi-million pound UK launch campaign of Gran Turismo 4 for the Sony Playstation2 games console.
Sales Director Tarsem Kainth said, 'It's a real pleasure to have been selected and to be involved in such an exciting campaign. We'll be sure to offer Sony no less a service than we provide to all our other customers.'
Officially hailed as the largest and most expensive video game ever created, GT4 is the fourth instalment of the blockbusting Gran Turismo series of racing car simulators that has sold a record-breaking 36 million units worldwide.
It's long awaited launch in the UK on the 9th March 2005 is set to be one of the most celebrated campaigns ever for a game. After four years in development, GT4 roared off the start line at the recent Japanese launch where one million units were shipped in the first two days. It's already expected to be 2005's biggest release and, to boot, one of the most important PS2 games yet.
The game was developed hand-in-hand with 80 of the motor industry's leading marques. Each of the games' 700 cars behaves exactly like its metal equivalent - taking into account weight, speed, friction, wind and more. Every one of the 52 real-world tracks took six-weeks on location and tens of thousands of photographs to ensure realistic modelling down to a 15mm level of detail.
So if sometime soon you just happen to be racing a McLaren F1 GTR against an Aston Martin DB7 around Monaco, you can be sure CKL will be rooting for you to win.
