A step in a new direction
Published:  21 March, 2005

When a new form of decoration becomes available it is always headline news, and Fuwari deserves your attention. Your Embroidery Services explain why.

We all, at some time, have thought to ourselves how wonderful it would be if something new came along. Something so different that it would make our customers sit up and say "Wow, that is fantastic!" Well today must be our lucky day!

Allow me to introduce Fuwari - a new technique for decorating garments. Based on standard embroidery, Fuwari, creates a full three dimensional effect allowing the thread to stand up as if to attention. A combination of the correct thread, an embroidery machine and the Fuwari technique results in a stunning raised effect that will excite and amaze designers all over the world.

The technique is quick and easy (once you know how it is done) with results available in minutes, so not extending the production time by too much. Fuwari can be used in its own right or it can be combined with other decorating techniques such as standard embroidery.

A Fuwari design is digitised in the same way as normal embroidery using the same software, although there is a learning curve to become proficient at producing Fuwari designs.

The finished decoration is durable and will withstand laundering although extra care needs to be taken when ironing a garment. As with normal embroidery, thought must be given as to where and when Fuwari can be appropriately used but, in the main, wherever embroidery is used, so too can Fuwari.

This is a technique that demands attention from both the design and the finished article points of view. Fuwari can be used on children's wear, ladies wear, linens such as towels or robes, sports wear etc. The list just goes on and on.

Your Embroidery Services Ltd are rightly proud to be the ones that will introduce this into the market. Roy Burton of Your Embroidery Services Ltd said, 'We are so pleased to be able to offer this technique. Sometimes fashion needs a little nudge to adopt something new but we think that Fuwari will be accepted straight away.'

Developed in the Far East, the technique has been carefully developed so that by the time it arrived in our market, the machinery etc. would be as user friendly as possible. Apart from supplying the machine, YES will also have the consumables necessary for production available and, of course, will give full training on both production and, if necessary, software.

This is something that you simply cannot afford to miss out on. Fuwari will have a big effect on the way embroidery and garment decoration develops in 2005 and to be in at the beginning will provide embroiderers with another way of satisfying their customer's demands.

Your Embroidery Services Ltd. is pleased with the fact that they are at the forefront of this new development. Combining this with the introduction of the Dual Function machines from SWF shows that, as a company, they are always looking for ways to help embroiderers develop their market and widen their customer base.

YES are determined as a company to lead the way in supplying the market with new and exciting ideas.
