Colour chameleon

Continental Clothing has launched new colours for its hoodies and sweaters this autumn.

The Men’s and Women’s Pullover Hooded Sweatshirts are now available in electric blue, moss green and Kelly green; while the Men’s Zip-Through Hooded Sweatshirt now comes in stereo red and charcoal grey.

New colours of Hawaii blue and moss green are also available in the Women’s Washed Hooded Sweatshirt, and charcoal grey, Hawaii blue, raspberry and stereo red are now available in the Women’s Zip-Through Hooded Sweatshirt.

Workwear show

Exhibition specialist Ocean Events and director-e, the international textile news and breakthrough marketing consultant, have joined forces to stage the Workwear and Corporate Clothes Show – a new UK exhibition for the workwear industry.

The exhibition will be dedicated to senior buyers, specifiers and suppliers in the workwear garment industry and will take place at the Birmingham NEC, 2-3rd April 2008. For information go to www.workwearshow.co.uk

Time for a change

Barudan has appointed Dave Crabtree as office manager of the UK operation, based at Hucknall in Nottingham.

Crabtree brings to the role 15 years’ experience as a sales engineer within the embroidery machinery industry, having previously worked for GSUK and Melco, and at Barudan for the last three years.

Barudan has also been appointed by Sawgrass Technologies as sole distributor to UK embroiderers for the Sawgrass Direct Advantage – a new direct to garment inkjet printer.

New engraver

Roland DG has launched the Metaza MPX-80 – a new engraver and personalisation device for engravers, jewellery stores and corporate gift producers. See page 82 for details.

Free online training

Europe’s promotional products software provider Promoserve is hosting a number of online training sessions in November.
