Over the past two years TheMagicTouch says it has seen dramatic growth in the use of its image transfer process to decorate High-Viz garments. Having the ability to personalise such items enables target marketing that can prove very cost effective, it suggests.
“As you are aware we are encouraged to get kids ‘on their bikes’ or indeed to walk to school helping to create a healthier lifestyle and image. However, the danger of cycling and indeed walking near busy roads always remains,” it says.
TheMagicTouch suggests that decorators should take the time to personalise a sample waistcoat with the relevant school logo and forward it to either the headteacher or the PTA.
“This will create interest and at least make the school aware of your existence. This is a great road safety initiative and will assist in avoiding someone being injured or even killed,” it says.
Another target market is local employment agencies. With increasing use of contract and temporary staff being introduced to industry, the ability to identify the staff is a great advantage to the contractor. Again, TheMagicTouch suggests the quickest and most effective marketing for this idea is to produce a personalised sample for their evaluation.
