It says customers are using Reflexite Highlight, Shadow and Imagine tape, which are individually made for each client incorporating the client’s company logo whilst addressing duty of care issues for employees in terms of visibility.

There are over 27 different tape variations, all of which are EN471:2003 level 2 compliant, says the firm. Reflexite embossed Highlight, Shadow and Imagine tapes enable a bespoke corporate identity logo to be incorporated, as well as the use of different colours to tie in with the brand.

Reflexite explains how the tap works: “The tape’s prism technology works by refracting light from its inner surfaces. Light strikes each of the three surfaces of the Reflexite microprism in turn, before returning to its source. The retroreflective efficiency is enhanced by the precise arrangement of the microprisms, as seen in a microscopic view. The microprism's economical use of surface area delivers the highest standard of reflection.”

An enclosed optical system also allows the trim to retain nearly all its reflectivity when wet, while the tape’s smooth surface means it is easy to wipe clean, it adds.
