Uniform, corporatewear and workwear have become an increasingly theme at multi-brand distributor UK Leisurewear.
Workwear
Premier offers a wide range of workwear, hospitality and corporate products. The collection runs from traditional shirts and blouses, to chef’s and bar wear, right through to industrial products such as boiler suits and coveralls.
Joining 2007’s expanded workwear range are American giants Dickies, which has grown into one of the most internationally recognised work wear brands, says UKL. The 2007 range includes core styles from the Dickies Redhawk range, including the WD4839 range of boiler suits. Manufactured from hardwearing 65/35 polyester cotton and available in up to 10 different colourways, thesecoveralls are available with regular and long lengths and separate ladies and children’s sizes. There are also several trouser styles and footwear.
Also new to the UK Leisurewear collection of brands is Davern Workwear. Core to the Davern range is the TA21/46 Tabard with or without pocket. Manufactured from hard wearing 65/35 poly cotton Tootal fabrics, these tabards are available in up to eight core workwear colours. They compare very favorably with the pricing and product available form the larger uniform suppliers and manufacturers, says UKL. Also available is the TR10 range of workwear trousers that feature stitched in seams and mitered pockets.
Russell Europe has also expanded its Russell Workwear collection to include the colours camel and bright royal.
Corporate and hospitality wear
Sister brand to Russell Workwear, Russell Collection, specialises in beautifully cut and detailed corporatewear, says UKL. New for this year are two new fabrics – the 948M/F and 949M/F are manufactured in an easy care 100% cotton gingham. The men’s long sleeve shirt features mitered pocket and cuff details and the option for cufflinks, whilst the ladies version features a fashionably deep three-button gauntlet cuff and darted hemline and back panel for a tailored fit. Also new, the 950 and 951 M&F are created from a fresh Prince of Wales Check. Both allow for cufflinks.
New to the corporatewear scene is Fruit of The Loom, which has added three core styles of shirt for the corporate market. The styles feature either Oxford button down collars or cutaway collars on poplin fabrics and there are seven colours to choose from.
UK Leisurewear exclusive Ayers Rock and Rivermead both offer excellent options for the corporate market. Ayers Rock’s CR1035 and CR1040 offer concealed plackets in easy care fabrics, whilst Rivemead’s RM050 and RM052 offer core corporate basics in a soft poly viscose fabric.
Not forgetting the range offered by Kustom Kit, which, it could be argued, single handedly lead the growth in Oxford shirts for the workwear market. In addition to its workwear staples comes the Workplace range of Oxford shirts and blouses in 70/30% polyester cotton and KK116 Premium Non Iron Corporate Shirts. Kustom Kit has also launched a range of ladies’ corporate tops with mandarin style collars, eye-hole and Mouret style necklines.
