UKL says sure fire winners so far have been the Ph27/Ph27B and Ph29/Ph29B shower-proof tracksuit top and pants and the Ph68/Ph68B training sweatshirt manufactured from the latest hydrophilic (moisture wicking) fabrics. The collection also includes wet and dry training tops and bottoms, as well as swimwear.

Phase One’s sister brand Nusport also provides great collections of towelling and velour tracksuits, says UKL, as well fitted polo shirt and short combinations.

Also available through UKL is Kustom Kit, whose Gamegear range now includes a new track short, top and pants; while Gunn and Moore provides a cricket range.

Brand new for 2008 is the ALO Sports range, launching exclusively through UKL. ALO stands for Air Land Ocean, the three elemental forces that have inspired the range. The garments work with the modern lifestyle, exploiting techno fabrics and mixing them with cool retail styling. “The garments have been designed to look great both on and of the sports field, in and out of the gym but really come into their own when put to work,” it explains. The fabrics manage body moisture and temperature and feature an anti microbial treatment for lasting freshness.
