The previous owner and founder of the company Brad Lower has retained a number of shares in the new company and welcomes the change.

“The change of ownership brings many benefits to our customers, and to the business as well as to my established Australian business operations,” said Lower.

He has returned to Australia to run the recently established UK support office, which will enable The Marketing Worx to operate on a 24- hour basis and will mean that all quotations and artwork will be managed closer to the Far East factory operation and in the same time zone.

A Far East office has also been established to further aid production control and scheduling. “This will mean fast and accurate quotes and a delivery schedule unrivalled by any of our competitors. The same will be said for our level of customer service,” added Lower.

New owner Malcolm Watson also heralded the change and said further acquisitions would not be ruled out. “These are very exciting times for me personally as well as for our business interests. Further announcements will be forthcoming over the next few weeks and months as we expand staff levels.”

Following extensive growth over the past six months the business needs to expand its operations, so staff levels in the UK will triple with immediate effect.

The company is also in the process of developing a new website and will be releasing a number of new cap styles and an increased range of sports bags.

The UK head office operations are now based at Devonshire House, Bank Street, Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
