Schoolwear plays such an important part in the print wear market, says Henbury, a company which offers a number of products to fulfil this demand. The children’s tipped polo shirts is a perfect example, says Henbury, and is a great alternative to the traditional solid dye polo shirt. The contrast tipping on the collar and cuffs gives schools or clubs the opportunity to co-ordinate House Colours as well as contrast opposition colours for their sports teams.
“These polo shirts are also excellent for out of school clubs and societies and can be used for identifying different team colours such as football or netball teams,” says Henbury. The shirts are available in a weighty 200g, 65% polyester/35% cotton pique, which is excellent to launder and can be washed at 60 degrees and tumble dried with minimum ironing. The children’s polo (H459) is available in ages 3/4 to 11/12 years and fully coordinates with the adult version (H450), in sizes S to XXL. The durability is further enhanced by the exclusive Henbury Stand Up Collar and the shirt is the perfect vehicle for embroidery, add Henbury.
The Classic 100% cotton Pique (H100) is available in 33 colours and includes a ladies version (H121). The core 65/35 pique is also offered in a ladies version, available from a size XS, while the men’s goes up to 5XL. And for something a little more fashionable, the Henbury Hoodie (H812) offers children the type of garments they actually want to wear, says Henbury. “Some schools have already seen this potential and adopted them as their official uniform,” it claims. “The Henbury Hoodie also come in an XS – XXL and has some great design features such as the double hood, rivet panelling under the arms and a kangaroo pocket.”
Similarly, Henbury says its MicroFleece Jacket (H850) is another popular style that children will want to wear. Teamed with the ladies version (H851), both are made in luxurious 280g 1005 polyester Micro Fibre that is excellent to wash and is exceptionally quick drying, says Henbury. Both styles also have an interactive zipper allowing them to be zipped into the Showerproof Jacket (H830/831).
